Screen House / Canopy for Full Hook-Up Sites
We're thinking about getting a screen house to give our TT some additional space. Our idea is to put the picnic table in there and have a place to hang out at night or in the rain. Does anyone have a screen house model that they would recommend?
How would you go about securing the screen house at a full-hookup site that has a concrete pad and/or concrete like soil with a little bit of grass?

Welcome to iRV2
Screen rooms and California room are available from a numder of manufacturers, price varies by awning length.
There are water filled blader tubes available to hold down the edges in spots where stakes can’t be used.

We like our Clam screen room better than any other we have ever had. We had a couple different ones of the Easy-Up version, and they all broke plus took a long time to set up. Had another couple of types over the years with the same problem. The Clam goes up quick, is stable because it has multiple tie down points, and it has option rain/wind screens that actually work. Not inexpensive, but well worth it for us.

In review, there are several Clam Screen room models . Do you have a preference and why. Prepping for a 12 week trip and this is on DW’s list.

We have the Clam Quick set Escape in Green because Green was cheaper than Brown. We really like it.

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!
We have a screen room that we bought from Sears many years ago. Not familiar with what's available now.
Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

We also have the Quick-Set Escape in brown. We bought ours quite a few years back, and brown was the only color they had back then.

Clam seems to be the top of the line and highly recommended by many. They are a little pricey though.
We have the Coleman Screen house and it does a great job. It's been through a couple of storms without any problems.

We have a Clam Quick Escape and are very happy with it. Easy up, easy down, easy to store. Well made. We have some panels to velcro on for inclement weather. Very worth the money in my opinion. Ours is brown. I'm not sure the dimensions but it's quite roomy.

We now have a Coleman Screen house and are pretty happy with it. It doesn’t have the privacy panels or canvas covers for the screened areas (what ever you call them). I liked that feature on our old one because it made it more useful in that we could use it on rainy days too. The old one was heavy to carry and awkward to set up consequently we found we seldom set it up. The Coleman is easy up and down and is easily stored in our TT front storage. I can’t recall the brand name of our old one but our daughter uses it in her back yard now.
