SD Trailer Plate Frames

anyone out there who have their trailer plates from South Dakota ... have you been able to find plate frames for em ??? a little over 5" x 10" plates ...
I had a frame waiting for our plate to arrive only to find out it was too big !!!

Wow! We just traded our motorhome for a 5th wheel and got a new plate. I thought the plate felt a little odd when I was putting it on, but never realized it was so much smaller than a standard plate.

I almost did what you did and ordered a frame. Now, I'll do a little more searching before I do. Maybe there will be some sources that come up in response to your question.

I haven't found one yet. I used the reverse side of a novelty plate, (silver back), and then put the SD plate over that, so it would have some sort of background beside just the back of the trailer wall. Then I put it all in my USCG Retired frame.

I still don't like it though. Waiting for someone to make a frame that will actually fit.

good idea jammer .... also thought about having our engine/machinist guy cut one out for me ....
Am surprised that the trailer dealers up there wudn't have em ...
