Selling 2006 Rockwood popup consignment/private sale?

Dealer where we are buying the 1998 Layton wants my popup on consignment.
No percentage fee. Sells it at my reserve + his price. I. E. my price is 3,000.00 he sells it for 4,000.00 I understand there is no insurance from my carrier.
DW does not want the hassle of showing it till itís sold.
I want to do CL, but she wants the dealer.
And advice?

I don't know who your dealer is and if he gets a good amount of traffic thru his place. If he does you may very well get it sold quicker. If you set a reserve price on it you will basically get the price you want without the hassle of showing it. Plus you won't have to worry about the buyer coming back to you, if there is a problem. I don't know where you live, but I am in Fort Worth, TX. My neighbor put a For Sale sign on his pop-up in the driveway and sold it the same day. I put mine on Craig's List and had so many calls I removed it 20 minutes later. Sold in 1 hour later to the 1st caller.
