I would suggest looking at rvtrader.com to see what other dealers are asking. The other thing you could do is look at this site:
http://www.seedealercost.com/product...ar-select=2018
It’s mostly accurate and will give you an idea of dealer cost as well as what options are available. Note that it doesn’t include things such as taxes, delivery cost and any add on fees charged by the dealer.
You will get a wide variety of opinions on what is a good deal. Ignoring taxes, I consider 35% off MSRP a fantastic deal, 30% off a good deal, and 25% off an okay deal. RVtrader.com can give you an idea of how many units of the model you are looking at are out there. This can affect how willing a dealer is to move on his price. By the way, make sure you ask for an “out the door” price.
If you are willing to travel, you can save a lot money as well. While buying local is ideal, I would not worry about a dealer refusing to work on your trailer because you didn’t buy it from him. Dealers make a lot of money off repairs. (You are best off learning to fix things yourself).
Good luck!
