shopping for first towable

Hi, We're ready to get off the tent floor and are in the final stage of hopping for a trailer. We are comparing a Z1 by Crossroads, model 211, a Rockwood 2304 mini lite, and a Coyote CL180 SL. All have nearly the sae weight, walk around bed. And all the dealers clai they have the better product. Prices are pretty even. Any advice on who really does have the betterproduct and why you think so?

Northwood Arctic Fox. ...but then I'm biased Like you, I spent a fair amount of time researching. For me, a strong suspension and higher quality insulation were factors. I chose a 2012 Arctic Fox 22G. Picking it up next week. They are heavier trailers, though.

Good luck with your search. My opinion - do your research and gather as much information from folks who aren't selling anything as you can. I found the folks here to be of great help!!

I bought a new 2013 model Crossroads Z-1 in April and so far I've been happy with it. This is my first TT so I don't have any experience with other brands to compare but so far I haven't had any serious problems or complaints about it. My only issue so far has been with one of the TV mounts. There are 3 in my trailer and they are labeled with "Mount Here" stickers. I had to reinforce the mount over the dinette because it seemed too flimsy to me. The other mounts seemed sturdy enough. Hope this helps....good luck!
