I did several searches and didn't find what I was looking for. I'm sort of new to posting and searching the site and may be in the wrong place but here goes. I bought a TT recently and the shower surround is the same wallboard as the rest of the TT. I am going to install a plastic/abs one piece unit (three sided) and am looking for advice on whether to use glue, plastic rivets, urethane, molding or exactly what is best for this type of installation method to allow movement yet keep it in place.

I'd think any good construction adhesive would do the job. It's usually got enough flex and strength to do the job. I'm confused about your question, what was the shower lined with before? Was the wallboard designed to be a waterproof shower enclosure?

The wall board in the shower is the exact same wallboard used throughout the entire camper. The previous owner said they used it some but not much. I don't see any damage but I will feel a lot more comfortable with a shower surround that I know is waterproof.

I'm looking for the same answers for the same reasons with a Flair MH. I can't imagine why they did that, well yes I can, it was cheaper. What a place to cut costs. I'll have to use a multi piece enclosure in order to get it through the door. I was thinking of using an adhesive to attach mine, but I'm hoping we can both learn from your post.

Where did you find your enclosure?

I looked at another Flair with the same shower enclosure that did have water damage so it would eventually happen to ours.

We bought everything through Amazon. The shower surround was a Lippert 209461. Then we got the extend-a-shower and the curved splash guards. Hope all this works. Since I ordered all this I have discovered a bad leak up front around where the awning attaches I think??? Will have to put the shower upgrade on hold until I can find and correct the leak problem.
