Side Wall Framing ?

I sure could use some help, I have a Coachmen 191RB Freedom Express LTZ. It came with a 10 awning, I would like to replace it with a 12 awning.

I called Coachmen and talked to then about it, they said there would not be a backer plate where the bottom awning bracket bolts would go for the 12 awning. If I had the drawings that they used to build the trailer Im sure I could add the backer plate.

Does anyone know for sure how the side wall is framed?

Thanks Hitch Pin

The only way to know "for sure" is to tour the assembly line, or dis-assemble your interior wall where you wish to put backing plates. RV manufacturers do not publish design drawings or assembly procedures.

If I had a pic I could tell you. There's most likely a stud running full length along the bottom, outside.
