We are looking at a Cross Roads Paradise Point that has a slide out kitchen
haven't seen this before. Do any of you have such a thing and if so what do you think about the arrangement?

Thanks

Our last 2 5th wheels have had all or part of the kitchen housed within a slideout. We haven't had any problems associated with this arrangement.

I've looked at these. I don't know if I like the moving gas connections. How will they fair over time? It's just a personal thought. I have no data to prove or disprove my feeling.

Just a thought.

Two years with a slide out kitchen and zero problems. Don't let it stop you if you find a floorplan you like.

I wouldn't be concerned at all. Electricity and gas piping are two things the RVIA cannot ignore. They must be to national DOT or NFPA standards. Otherwise the RVIA is self-regulated.

Our new unit has a slide out kitchen and granted we have not used it but only for a little over two months but have not had any problems. They are well protected.

Have had one for 27 months - no problems. Agree with a respondant that the RVIA is probably pretty gung ho re gas, water, and lectric lines and connections. I wouldn't worry too much. That said, go with a builder that has a good quality contrl rep...

Thanks for joining in and post often. If you look at connections of your pipeing and gas, electrical I think you will find much improvement from days pass used to be coils of wire, plumbing and electrical wires layed out as springs "007"

Tiger63 I have a slide kitchen and the gas and electlines are in a folding track looking thing. I noticed some of the swivel joints have popped out and the gas line could get a kink.
