After getting back from vacation last night and flying mom back to KC I started to replace the springs on the left side under the slide out. All went good, now I need to replace the equalizer but will order the Flex Equalizer kit. But when I went to slide it back out it started to move then quit. Not unusual some times it takes a few tries to get it to “pop” loose but now I can hear the motor run and see the gear not move. Tried the handle but still no good, I have never used the handle so how many turns does it take for it to start to move? It is very hard to turn. Could I make something that will work on a ½ hammer drill or a electric impact?

I do need to drop the under belly to see why my fresh water tank will not hold water but had not planned on doing it tomorrow. Took a vacation and something broke or was damaged just about every day.

Paul

Electric slide mechanisms have a shear pin to prevent damaging something expensive. There is a root cause to shearing a pin, which should be located and corrected. Hopefully you will find something you can use at Aero-Rv.com - Aerolite Ultra Lite RV Travel Trailer and Expandable Hybrid Campers , click "powered slides-beds" then find your brand of mechanism. Do not grease or oil on the slide tubing/rails, it collects dirt and road grime to combine into a crude grinding compound. Dry Slide is recommended for this application.

Is the unit still level or is it binding the slide out? I have a Kountryaire 5er and lube the slide rails with jig-a-loo which sprays like WD40 but dries like silcone

I got it fixed; it was the sheer pin.

I made ramps 12” X 2” planks to left the trailer so fat boy could get under it and remove the underbelly. Need them any way so I can remove the underbelly for the fresh water tank and see why it will not hold water. The design could use some help because the gear box is before the drive to the slide so when the pin sheers you can not use the hand crank to get it in. Also Alfa used soft square tube and the holes have wallowed out over time , as have the tube on the front legs which sheered it’s pin while at Diamond Lake in OR.
Going to change the way the underbelly is done so next time I can remove a 1/3 of it and not have to take out a whole panel.

IS that a power gear rack and pinion system?

That is what I have on my coach. I buy shear pins (Well on mine it's 1/4 inch grade 8 bolts) By the dozen.
