I was curious myself... it appears to be a TT with an outdoor kitchen with blue LED perimeter lighting for the door (which is open). The trailer also seems to have blue LEDs along the bottom edge of the box.

Looks like LED strip lights. That's a pretty cool idea.

I think I see a fridge, microwave, and maybe a sink. But I might be fooling myself...

Latest mod? I did an emergency "Safe-T-Alertectomy" at 4am at the camp site this weekend. That SOB will drop into fault mode with so much as a .1 voltage drop. Battery went from 12.8 to 12.7 volts and the POS went nuts. Unscrewed it, cut and taped the wires and went back to bed. damn i was pissed. just going to get my self a unit from Kidde at home depot. they sell dual detectors that run on a 9v battery. Why is Safe-T-Alert such a garbage company?

Get an voltage regulator Starbreaker. Wouldn't that help? Look into the Hughes Autoformer for stabilizing the voltages.

Not when just running on the battery I wouldn't think? I thought those sat between the pedestal and the TT? Maybe I have the wrong idea on how they work?

1) The autoformer is for AC power.

2) That small a voltage drop should not affect the alarm. The alarm may be defective.

You are doing the right thing getting the battery powered kind. I was getting repeated alarms that caused me to punch the sucker right back into the paneling. Fixed the panel and said never again.

I should have added that this had been going on the last couple of trips. I was in vent mode and forgot to add that. I e-mailed and left of phone messages with MTI - neither were ever answered. So I agree with you that I believe the unit is defective. Especially after doing searches here and on google and seeing peoples frustration with the POS.
