Please see previous pics ...I bought industrial strength velcro. They show holding up hammers and stuff on the pack. The way I placed them their is no weight on the velcro at all as the probe have a base (shelf/edge) that they are on.. and yes, it's pretty hard to pull them off. I'm not worried at all. However, I will be zap strapping the exterior one behind the battery housing.

Finished installing the booster for the TPMS system yesterday. It was a very easy install apart for the fact that I damaged the thread of on of the batter terminals. What should have been a 15 min install was a 2 hour fiasco (Face palm!)

This system monitors 6 tires but I only used just 4 ie all tire pressures on the RV and alerts when you have a sudden blow/leak even slow leak.

The booster gives a much stronger signal as I was getting a few "lost Sensor" warning. I installed it straight to the house batteries with an additional "banana plug" like connectors for easy removal at any time, without touching the batteries.

Anyway, hope this helps someone if they intend to do this mod.

Here's one more pic. I mounted the booster it to the frame (Industrial strength Velcro) just next to the LP tanks. It's seems to be pretty dry there under the LP canopy even after a weeks worth of rain.

It won't be dry there when travelling in the rain. You know, when you might really need it.

If you ever have to replace your Tire Mender system, take a good look at TST. Great folks, good product. No dropouts from the trailer tire sensors with the longer antenna they provided, no repeater needed. Excellent customer service.

I have to say... where I live is semi desert so it's been weird weather last week but this week is a scorcher and should be 33c this weekend. Can't wait. It WILL be dry.. don't jinx it bro lol.

The unit is actually sealed and weather resistant so I'm not that concerned if it gets a bit of spray etc.

Yeah, I looked at several but most people recomended the the Tire Minder system TM66 etc. I really like it and got a smoking deal on it Even without the booster it was ok only disconnected once or twice. .. then I realized I never pulled up the antenna lol. Anyway.. the booster was there so I thought. .why not. still mad at myself ref the battery terminal.

Some more mods will follow soon. ))

Today I added some really nice solar accent lights to the RV exterior for when camping. I put them at every latch opening and at the door/step entrance, just to give me some extra light to see things or when I pull things out of the RV and also creates a nice glow around the RV.

I installed them with industrial strength velcro, and they just pull off when travelling. I just went outside (now that its dark) to see how they look and I have to be honest, I'm overly impressed.

I bought them at Costco, if anyone is thinking about doing this. Really easy mod and looks great. 4 for $30 CAN. I put on 6.

I also added an over the door shoe rack which we will use for bathroom nick nacks. It is clear so you can see what you are storing and so easy to grab something.
I hated the over the door brackets that you can see from the other side of the door, so I hung them with industrial strength velcro. You can hang yourself to the door with this stuff, so strong. . It's awesome. Now it looks so much better without the over the door hangers and is very functional in the Limited space we all have in a TT.

Hope you like these mods too.

That's awesome. Please do. That's the whole idea of this thread is to share most of what I've done, what didn't work and what did, so you won't have to hit the pitfalls I've made lol.

When putting up the accent lights, make sure the fluffy side of the velcro is on the lights and the hard side is on the RV. Hope that made sense.

Don't know if you mentioned it, but do you own stock in Velcro products?

Velcro----the new duct tape.

The Velcro works great, but the sticky stuff is the issue. I've never had a velcro failure but that self adhesive can really let you down.
