I have started to develop some squeak in the floor around the heat vents. I thought I read on here before how to fix the squeak. If any one has advice or dealt with this problem before I would appreciate to hear from you. Thank you.

My 2015 Nash 23D also squeaks around the floor register that is in front of the kitchen sink. When I brought it back to the dealer for some other warranty issues, I had them check this, and they said that they slightly enlarged the hole around the register which seemed to work for a while, but last time we went out at the end of July it was squeaking again. Next trip out, I plan to pull out the register and try lubing it and the hole with silicon spray.

By the way have you had any issues with your slide not retracting all the way in at the bottom in your 2016 Nash 23D?

I pulled my registers to clean the dirt and dog hair out, but didn't think of using any silicone. Let me know how that works.

I have had no problems with my slide. What happened to yours and how did you deal with it? I have tried to always inspect the rails and keep them clean.

My Slide has got to where it does not seem to retract all the way back in at the bottom, but still has about 1/3 to 1/2" to go. I called the dealer and spoke with service, and told them I might bring it in in a few weeks, and I also called Northwood Mfg, and they said to review the videos from Lippert Components regarding resetting the zero on the slide-out controller. The video seems simple enough, but I will have to go to the storage lot, and uncover the trailer, and pull it out of it's spot to be able to fully extend the slide-out. The video says to extend it fully, and keep your finger on the button an additional 3 to 5 seconds. Then, retract the slide about 10 inches, and then extend it back out fully. Then repeat that process 3 times to reset the zero. I plan to do that in the next few weeks, and If that fails to bring it back in, I will have to take it back to the dealer to get it fixed as my 1 year warranty will be up near the end of October.

It would seem that this post has nothing to do with this THREAD subject. If you are having issues, the proper educate of this, as well as most other forums, would be to start a new thread. A stand alone thread, properly titled, will most likely get your problem noticed and you'll receive much better recommendations. Having it buried in someone else's thread tends to allow it to be lost to viewers that may very well have solutions to offer you.

I had a squeaky vent in front of the sink in our Fox Mountain. I replaced it with a floor vent from Home Depot. Squeaks gone. I got the idea from the guys on the NROA site. Northwood owners. Not sure if Outdoor and NW use the same vents but might be worth a try replacing it. Pretty cheap gamble.

You did see that the OP is the one who asked him the question, right? His thread and his questions so I'm pretty sure all is good.
