Starcraft Autumn Ridge 26RLS

Wife and I are looking at buying this as an upgrade from our current TT. Our TV is a 2013 Ram 1500 CC with the 5.7 Hemi and the 3.55 6 speed tranny. Trailer weighs 6130 and has a tongue weight of around 640 lbs. It is 30 foot long from back bumper to tongue. My truck has a tow capacity of 8800 lbs and a cargo capacity of 1500 lbs. I think I'm well within the weights, just wonder about the length. don't wanna do the white knuckle drive. what do you guys think? will this trailer/TV combo be good?

I just reread your post and figured out your trailer is a 26 footer not counting the tongue. So I had to change my reply. You should be OK with what you have, but a 3/4th ton would be better. You can never have to much truck for a TV, especially in the mountains.

You should be ok with this set-up .
Just make sure to spend the extra money for a decent WD hitch ,
I pull my 31 ft. Cougar 28RLS WITH THE 5.7 Hemi & Equalizer 4 point hitch with 0 sway issues .
My TV is the 2500 Ram 4x4 with 3.73 gears but I think the 1500 with correct hitch set-up will have no issues with this StarCraft trailer .
Happy Camping

Congrats. I have the Starcraft Autumn Ridge 28RLS 50th Anniversary Edition. We love it and it perfectly suits our needs at this time. Happy Camping and safe travels.
