We are looking to buy our first trailer and are looking at the 2014 Starcraft Autumn Ridge 329 BHU. I would LOVE any opinions or suggestions about these campers please! We are a family of four with 2 kids age 6 &7. Thank you!!!

When i looked at a Starcraft trailer, the one thing that really stood out was the almost inadequate tires and axles. It had cheap Chinese tires and the minimum axles they could get by with. I'd have them upgrade the tires and possibly the axles as well.

The interior trim was not really well done. Trim pieces did not match and line up well. The one we looked at had two cabinet door hinges pulled out of the cabinet face and laying on the floor. This was from the factory to the dealer.

I'd shop around a little Dawg. You don't get a re-do without a pretty good financial hit.

We have a 2011 329bhu. We have two teens and a couple of dogs. We also camp other couples (leave kids home) on occasion. The bunk beds are roomy enough for adults.

We use ours a fair bit and really enjoy the amenities, quality of workmanship, appliance quality. We put around 6k miles/yr. We live in south texas and have taken the trailer to minnesota, north dakota, colorado and.the smokies. This past christmas we camped in mid-teens temps with no adverse affects. We spend most summers in the texas heat (temps in the 100's) very comfortably.

I replaced the oem goodyear marathons at around 10k mi. They were worn due to never being balanced. The tire shop gave me a warranty adjustment due to the irregular wear ;-) (from now on, the first stop after purchase of any trailer will be for tire balancing!). The axles are dexter ezlube w/dexter never-adjust brakes. Very pleased w/dexter quality.

We have had coleman, keystone, and two starcrafts. We have seen this layout in jayco and forest river and prefer the starcraft version. For the money, you cant beat the value.
