We are paying about $80 a month at Raceway Storage in Freehold. We used to store at Pine Cone Resort in southern Freehold and paid about $550 a year.

Raceway is worth it to us because the trailer is on asphalt, access is controlled on our schedule (6 am-11 pm) and the owners are terrific to work with.

Pine Cone was our choice earlier because it was the only place we could find in the area at the time. It's cheap, but I only recommend it as a last resort. It's an open field and while it worked, I had a number of issues with the place.

Didn't you have a contract? Did they give your space away?

apparently because I didn't like where they put my unit ( next to a fence where there was a big hole that lead to the woods) I decided to move it to my Brother in laws until the paving was done. They wanted me to continue to pay each month to keep the virtual space. So I had to cancel the contract but was told bring it back anytime and you get your space back. Well, of course that was a lie.....

If I get a call before Thursday to bring it back at the same rate I will be happy otherwise I will be posting their name if thats ok......
