I replaced mine with combi cams. Worked well, and requires no key!

Two things I wondered about the combo locks, are the suseptable to binding due to exposure to dirt and road grime? Second thing, are they large enough to read at night?

As with any type lock they all need at times some kind of lubricant. Combo lock dials are quite small.
