Sunset Trail Reserve 32RL by Crossroads

Does anyone have any knowledge on this brand of TT? Found a fair deal on a 2015 in "excellent" condition. So they say, haven't had a walk through yet. Haven't been able to find may review on the Sunset Tail Reserve.

We are newbies and don't want to make a expensive mistake. Thanks for any help

That is a lot of trailer for a newbie. I view Sunset Trail as being an ok trailer. They are as good as any other trailer and better than some. I am not sure how much wiggle room you have in your deal but you can check to see if you are at least getting a fair deal buy looking at KBB for trailers.

I am thinking that this is a little too much trailer for a 150/1500 series truck so I hope you have a 250/2500 series truck.

Thanks for the info. We do have a 2500 Duromax, I thought I put it in my profile but it doesn't seem to show up like everyone else's posts. Running away from this one as fast as I can. Decided to text a few questions before I drove out to see it. Simple stuff like how old the tires were, maintenance records, any known issues. Their reply "Go find another camper buddy"

As newbies I will tell you what I know or my beliefs as I am looking to replace my 2013 Keystone Vantage 25RBS with something larger/newer. I am a sucker for the new solid steps. I think they are the cats meow.

On any new 2019 you should be able to get 40% off MSRP as the 2020's are coming out. In my shopping I like the Flagstaff trailers, Jayco and Winnebago trailers. In January / February the RV shows start. This last week I rented a car and put 1,100 miles on it looking at trailers. I would sum it up as a partial fail as in my mind I could visit 3 dealerships per day...in reality I could only visit 2. So I am looking forward to the RV Shows where I can see more manufacturers at one place.

The new trailers have:
New 75 mph speed rated tires vs 65 mph rated tires, solid type steps, LED lights, power stabilizers and some even have power leveling, power awnings, LED light strips, and more slides.

Rockwood/Flagstaff trailers seem the best built since they are solid and I think they have a better roofing material. They have a laminated roof too. Oh, they also use 5/8 tongue and groove flooring.

You can use YouTube to see just about how any trailer is built. I also use YouTube to research what the presenter says/shows as they walk thru the trailer.

That's amazing information. I appreciate your input and knowledge. It's funny that just when I think I know which direction we are going in it changes. I'm glad I'm not in a rush. Thanks again.

I have a 2017 sunset trail I bought last fall and so far I am happy with it. The only thing Iím not a fan of is the secure stance axles. I had to replace one axle right after I bought it. With the axles being farther apart it puts a lot of stress on the axles when backing in a site.
