Looking for comments on the Surveyor travel trailers by Forest River. The 240 caught my eye, but would be interested in comments on the Surveyor line in general.
Thanks!

Fyshy Welcome to the forum. You will be able to get a lot of information and enjoyment from the nice folks here at the iRV2.

I Googled the 240 Survayor and it really is a great looking trailer.

Bren and I have the 2010 Forest River Flagstaff 831FLSS trailer and I will tell you that from our perspective the Forest River Products are well constructed and we have enjoyed every moment we use our rig. While looking at the 240 model I noted that the 240 and our trailer appear to have the same quality cabnitry, refrig, cabnit tops, couch, lighting fixtures, windows and shades. The mattress (Serta) is very comfortable.
The gel coat exterior IMHO will be easier to keep clean and maintained.

We have had only minor warranty concerns with the trailer. That said, I would recommend Forest River products baised on our experience with the Flagstaff.

I have a 291 that is 6 years old. It has had a few minor issues but nothing major. We would buy another now if they hadn't changed the outside color scheme. You get more for your money than another camper that I have found. You also get more closets and storage inside and under.
