Switch to LED lights

I have a 2010 Jayco 31RKS TT and want to know how to change the stop/turn lights to LED's. Can I simply change the bulbs to an LED style one?

Yes, but be sure the bulbs have built in resistors to handle 12 v. Some LEDs don't have resistors and will burn out quickly. Also, if you are putting a bulb behind a red lens, a red LED will show brighter than a white one. Same for yellow or white lens. The LED is a purer color than incandescent, thus it works better if the LED matches the lens.

I installed these in my TT and they work great. The only thing was I kept the factory lens on as I found it help the led lights to be brighter.

Check out this website Fiberglass Travel Trailers RV. You will find LED bulbs that replace the 1157 bulbs.
