I've flipped the axles for clearance and have replaced the ST tires with larger (235) LT tires. I notice that after a tight turn one wheel is toed in relation to the other on the same side. It's been doing this for 14K miles now so I'm fairly certain nothing is bending as the tires are wearing well. Still, it looks awful.
Is it possible that one tire is being loaded in, tipping the axle slightly? Anyone have a 'splanation for this occurance?

I think that is normal. Every trailer I have had thus far with tandem axles did this to some extent. I think it is because the wheels have no ability to turn. I could be wrong but I have always noticed this in all of my campers including my brand new unit.

L. Rome is correct. They all do it. One reason why you must always keep checking the lug nuts.

I agree, it's a normal reaction to tight cornering with any multiple axle configuration. Installing wider tires exacerbates the friction issue when dragging tires sideways. With under-inflated(less than sidewall max) tires it is very possible to roll a tire off the rim; with a even greater risk of breaking the bead seal-incurring a flat. Of course the simple solution is to avoid this maneuver whenever possible.
