temp tags in CA

I have a travel trailer in AZ and want to move it to CA, it's been there for over 5 years, was moved once from purchase in TX. How do I get Temp Tags to move it one-time to CA ?

Hello smitsc and welcome to irv2!

I would think since you and the TT are located in AZ you would need to go to AZ DMV to get a temp permit. Once you get to CA, you would then transfer the AZ title to CA.

The way it sounds your current tags are expired. Otherwise, you would not need CA temp tags just move it. Is this the case?
