I am having a problem with the oven in my 2000 vintage terry travel triler. The front valve burner wont allow the pilot light to ignite the propane in the oven. All burners work and the pilot light maintains a flame, heats the sensor foor the oven but the valve won't let the propane through. The valve has a murcury switch that releases fuel, the feds made murcury eco banned. Now the parts suppliers are saying it will be next year before replacement system, part, will be available. Any body got any ideas.

The pilot light heats a sensor (hermo couple) that allows the front valve burner ( thats manufactures term) to release fuel to the oven burner. My problm I think is no part availability. No replacment part, cant find a used one. It seems ridiculous to replace the oven. It may be that planned obsolescence is what I am a victim of.
I understand your concern regarding your non-replaceable gas valve. All I am saying is, the thermocouple controls the operation of the gas valve. So if it is bad, the gas valve will not work.
