OK we have the new teardrop trailer and the key given me for the rear galley hatch lock does not work. Many/Most trailer locks are FIC and there are numbers stamped on the lock and key and they need to match, identification is two letters followed by 300 through 350. The two letters are for who knows what and to order replacement keys you need only the 300 number.
The galley hatch however has an identification number of AE 012 and the FIC key fits (same blank). Any one with some insight and some place I can obtain a key?

You have 3 choices.. Two listed above (Dealer or locksmith) or contact FIC

I typed FIC LOCKS into Google and got a lot of hits on places that sell them.

If the lock is NOT locked you can take it to a good locksmith, and they can cut you a key, very quickly in fact. Heck, even I know how to do it with some locks. (NOTE ALL)

FIC locks are easy to find keys for however all of them are a 300 thru 350 with two letters in the case of the other locks an HF 330 of the. No where can I find any numbers lower than 300. The lock actually has AE 012 on it. I will if all else fails call tomorrow and yes have a lock smith make a key if ALL else fails.
