Thermistor placement on Norcold 611

I have done a lot of researching and moving, but still have right side fins freezing. Norcold wants $28 to answer question. Any suggestions? Thanks

I assume you saw this faq on their website:

Why is frost on the interior cooling fins only on the right side?

It is normal to accumulate frost on the right side of the bank of cooling fins. The coldest part of the cooling fins are those on the right side of the refrigerator as viewed from the front. Gas/Electric refrigerators will build frost of varying amounts depending upon the environmental conditions (temperature and humidity), how often the doors are opened, and what is stored in them. Defrosting is not required until a decline in performance is noted. Refer to your operator's guide: "Defrosting and Cleaning the Refrigerator Interior."

If your fins are icing badly and not defrosting, try replacing the thermistor that is attached to the 2nd fin from the right. It fixed my problem and now the refer works fine. Norcold sells the part for $18+/-

If the thermistor is bad replace it. If you still have problems that usually show up with longer usage then add a Fridge-Fix by Smart RV Products and your interior problem will be solved and your fridge will cool quicker and be more efficient. If you want to cure more potential problems then add an ARP electronic control that will manage your boiler temp. You can add 2 fans on your roof vent to improve draft and these fans, along with the interior fan, will be controlled by the ARP to run when refrigerant is being produced rather than 24/7. I recently did these 3 modifications and everything is great and I don't have to worry about turning into a Roman candle when I'm traveling down the highway.
