Tires on TT question

We will be looking to replace the tires on our travel trailer soon. What are some good brands for TTs???

How many miles do you usually get on your tires?

Are there any brands NOT made in China?

Thanks in advance for any info!

I currently have those Carlisle tires. New design I think with higher speed rating, but long term knowledge is unknown. Also had Maxxis which is very good. Most here will vouch for the Maxxis or the new Goodyear Endurance tires.

Honestly all depends on how much driving.

Like mentioned before-99%of the time they age before they wear.

Iíve used Goodyear Marathons with success for 3 plus years with 1500 miles of use a year but Iíve also used cheaper ones but ive replaced them within two years.

My buddy uses old ones that the trailer sits on and a set of off brand ones for when he travels - a bit of over kill but thatís a lot cheaper than blowout damage

This question gets asked every couple weeks or so with the same results. If you want to save time and find info on your own rather than waiting for replies use the sites search function.

If you want good RV tire info from a real tire engineer, iRV2 member tireman9 has written several good blog articles about tires made in China. For your own safety take the time to read all 11 articles.

Did he say they were goto tires? He simply said he had Carlisle Radial Trail HD tires.

My Endurance are almost a year old and 8,000 miles with no problems. They are made in the USA.
