Question Too many options!!

Getting confused now and need wise help. I have a small Nash TT and want to get something a little larger. I was considering the Hitchhiker ll but it was really sad looking. Was hoping to use this some in the milder days of winter.
I saw a 2011 V-Lite. Guys wants 25,500 for it. Also saw a 2009 holiday rambler savoy lx for the same money.
How do you know which is a better camper? What's the best way to negotiate?
I live in the Asheville NC area, is there a dealer anywhere near someone likes or recommends?
All advice and help will be appreciated.
Thanks again,
On the river.

IMHO - you can never know. I would guess any trailer built on a Friday is not as good as one built on a Tuesday. The very few things that I know is 1. The TPO roof is better than the older rubber roofs. 2. The newer flex suspension is better than the older solid spring suspension. 3. Look for more screws than staples. 4. Look for an enclosed underbelly. 5. Look for one with an additional all-weather package. This package may not make that much of a difference but every little bit helps. 6. Pick the one that feels better when you touch things like cabinet knobs, faucets, light switches etc. Seems to me that for 25g's you can get a very nice unit.

Hitchhiker II - is that a 5th wheel made by NuWa? If so, you can buy a new Rockwood 5th wheel for slightly less than 25g's.

we have a V-lite and it was great-had problems with the micro, furnace and toilet seal and all were repaired at the factory. very happy with the overall quality of the trailer (also have friends with them who are equally as happy) the V towed very well too. good luck in your search!!

How far are you from Clayton, NC? If not too far, got over to Camptown RV and ask for Jim Barnwell. He will help you figure out what you need and whether he has it.
