TPO Roof
The other day I did my four hour pre delivery inspection and discovered a corners a slide out is loose with air pockets, the main roof has a inch of a air pocket from one side to the other. I insisted these problems be fixed ,the dealer said depending on the temp. And weather the roof will move. I am confused. Can this TPO roof be repaired without taking up the whole roof? The trailer was purchased last fall but have not accepted the delivery yet .

Get your money back. Sounds like you are dealing with a less than reputable dealer who will do only what he is forced to do. Look elsewhere.

Hoping something can be done at this point with the roof.the deal is done just haven't accepted delivery yet

Your problem is why I'll never sign anything again before the trailer is complete and all systems are good to go.

I agree lesson learned. I spoke with the warranty mgr. today and he assured me the dealer will fix our list, now is the time while they still have it.

they may keep it a long time while the dealer "finds" items to add to your list to make money on the warranty work...
they did it to me......
oh, check your tires after a visit to the dealer. they jack them up to make the unit over shake on bumps to get more warranty work.

As far as dealers go, trust but verify. Ask how things were corrected then verify it. Then do a complete PDI again to make sure they didn't break stuff while fixing stuff.

I have a smaller TT with a TPO roof. It has 1 small air pocket now that I am not too worried about. If it gets bigger not sure what I will do.
Does anyone have a TPO roof w/o any air pockets?
I am thinking EPDM (rubber) roofs are glued while TPO (rubber/cloth) are just stretched and fastened.
Can anyone verify this?

Skyline - since you worked on this for sometime I would still work with the dealer and manufacturer to see what they can do. Maybe google 'RV TPO Roof Air Pockets' to see what pops up.

All of the flexible (rubber and TPO) are glued to the (usually luan) base.

Both roofs are glued. Issue is they are generally glued to chip board. It will depend on how the glue was absorbed into the wood. It may be there are some spots that are not glued as well as others but you have a number of vents, etc to hold the center down and the edges are held by termination strips.
Having them take up the roof could cause more issues that leaving them alone. We had some on the 5er. I marked them and in 10 years they did not grow.

You may have had a bad dealer, or you may not understand the procedure. A lot of parts have to come from the factory, and a lot of stuff gets damaged on shipping.
And over inflating tires to "shake" it more? They probably pulled it down a worse pot holed road too?

I wouldn't worry to much. I replaced my whole roof last year, tpo, used 2 gallons of glue so it is down pretty good. Today's tpo roofing is not felt backed so no moisture to draw under. Like Gordon said, may cause more problems by tearing it up just to glue that area. Keep an eye on it for awhile through regular maintenance. Most roofs leak because of damage or lack of maintenance anyhow.

your response sounds a little like you think I am making it up.
Just hope you never experience the same dishonest tactics I have.
I literally called them out on the over inflation and they denied it, yet I had it happen three separate occasions AND I can tell you that when you inflate a tire that clearly labeled states 50 lbs to 70 lbs you can not only feel the trailer bouncing behind you but the mirrors on my truck vibrate to the point I cannot make out an image in it. I took the tire gauge and asked for them to follow me outside and they refused.....

I read somewhere that a person with the same problem had somebody inject glue into the bubbles and ran a roller over them. I don't know if this works or not
