Trailer brakes

2014 Hideout brakes r not working. Think we can exempt the truck. We also have a 5th wheel we stored at the coast, those brakes work, so I THINK it the TT. Had my wife move the controller on and off, I didn’t hear any clicking noise. I did hear a buzzing sound. Any ideas? Need more info?

Controller brand ?
Did you probe the truck connector with a test light ?
Do you use the same plug in on the truck for both the trailer and fiver ?

Is the battery on the trailer hooked up and charged and, if you have a battery disconnect, is it on? I know a lot of the electric brake systems won't work even when hooked to the truck if the trailer's battery is missing or dead. Just tossing ideas.

Tekonsha voyage will be upgrading to a Tekonsha Prodigy P2.
No I didn’t probe the plug. The voyage works on the 5th but not on the TT, using the same plug

Have you tried powering the brakes from the trailer battery by pulling the break away switch , while spinning a wheel ?

Brakes

The old controller was not set right. Installed new P2 and works great. I did pull the safety brake and tire stopped. The P2 was very easy to set. Thanks for all the help
