I have the Jensen 965 in my Creekside and I don't see a HDMI port in the back or front of mine. I found out searching, that the 975 has a HDMI port.
Which model came with your unit? If I may ask?

My trailer is in storage so I won't be able to answer this for a bit unfortunately.

We have the 975. It has an HDMI output. And that is the only good thing about it.

The stock Jensen in my Jayco. What are some alternatives? I already put a new separate blue ray player in. I was thinking if just installing a good car stereo unit with a fabricated faceplate.

I have a Sony Blu ray player hooked to a 39" TV. Never use the Jenson.

If you need home theatre video and sound; do that in you stick house, so you don't bother your camping neighbors

What do you use for sound?

At home I have a 9.1 AV system (Samsung / Yamaha / Axiom Audio)

In trailer I use the TV speakers. I don't use the trailer speakers, either inside or outside.

If you need better sound in the trailer you could add a soundbar. These come in many different quality/price points. Use the audio output from your TV.
