I live up in Northern Oregon. I used to go through the trouble of blowing out the lines but I have found many trailers are already set up for winterizing. Buy a couple of bottles of RV antifreeze. Close your water heater bypass valves and drain the water heater. Then if your RV is setup for winterizing you just stick the hose in the bottle, switch the valve leading to the water pump, turn on the water pump and just open every water valve one at a time (don't forget your outside shower, toilet and both cold and hot ) until pink comes out. Let it run a bit, that way the antifreeze goes into your black and gray tanks (which hopefully are mostly empty).
WHY anybody would go through the trouble of blowing out their hoses is beyond me. And I used to do it! Plus the risk of rupturing a hose! Remember the RV plumbing is not rated for 110 psi.....
Takes 15 or so minutes. And most of that is spent switching the bypass valves and draining the Water Heater...
