Does anyone put their motorcycle in the bed of their truck and tow a TT? Can I have the tailgate down and not hit the TT? Does anyone do this with a 1/2 ton truck? Thanks, Scotty

I'm sure some do. But you most likely need the tailgate up due to turning and low spots.
Also, I'm sure some do it with a half ton. Is it adviseable? What size trailer do you have? How big a bike?

We are looking for a travel trailer and info gathering before we buy. We are leaning toward the Excel. The bike is a HD Electraglide Ultra.

You will need to check your GVWR and rear axle GAWR. Most likely with the tongue weight of the trailer plus the scooter plus the people, you will be over limits. 1/2 ton trucks have a limited cargo and passenger capacity.
