Trouble with Monitor Panel

Hi All,

I let the battery drain too low, and had to recharge it. It now has a full load, and all the lights, fans, pump work just fine. But a few things now don't work. The panel itself works, as I used the pump switch...just not the level indicators. Also not working are the power jack and light, the stereo, and TV (fuses look ok for all the above). The positive terminal on the battery has the white cable plus another cable that has a green wire (with its own fuse), and a orange/black wire. Any ideas?

BTW-its still on the battery, not hooked up to shore power.

Thanks,
Dave

Dave.
Did you remove the battery to charge it. If you did i think you reversed the wires. Black is normally the positive side and white the neg or ground. What make is the trailer?

I did take it out, but no they are not reversed...if they were none of the stuff would work. BTW-my brother used to live in NA. He lives in Foxboro now...I grew up in Stoughton.

Thanks for the reply...its a 2014 Jayco Flight.

Dave, I do not own a trailer, but after watching that video, he says white is the positive, and if they are hooked up wrong you lights inside will work, but not the electronics.

Might want to check your cables again.

Thanks guys...a buddy said the converter on his MH sometimes does funky stuff, and he resets the converter and it fixes somehow. I tried that and it worked! Thanks again.

See if you can trace the cable back from the power Jack. Should be a single cable and should go directly on the positive side of the battery if you are lucky if it was factory installed in might go to box on the side of the frame.
attached is the picture of the battery from my open range same setup on my old keystone bullet.
Black wire positive and white neg.

I would reach out to the dealer and confirm. Putting the wires on the wrong way round can cause other issues, I would leave the TT disconnect from shore power until you confirm.

We are within 10 miles of the location listed. Just waiting for spring to return.

RVs use residential wire colours not automotive, so the neutral white becomes negative and the hot black positive. On my TC the PO put tape on the leads, red on the black and black on the white.
