TT battery question

So forgive me if this is a dumb question, but the battery for my TT isnt holding a charge anymore. Im looking around at new batteries but we plan on selling this trailer next year for a new one and id rather dump as little money as possible into it this season. I realized I have two interstate car batteries that came out of jeep cherokees in my garage. Assuming they are still good I was thinking of running them in parallel to get through the rest of the season. Or should I just buy a new battery and hope I get my money out of it when I sell it? Thanks in advance for any input.

If you run a car ( start battery ) down , every time you do , the chances of it coming back to full power decrease. If your going to need them for a car , leave them in the garage.
Deep cycle batteries are built to withstand multiple discharge/re-charge cycles, spend the $$; could be you'll be able to tell a buyer , that the battery still has warranty left and that's a selling +.

I priced deep cycle batteries. A new group 24 (the smallest) was $115. A much larger group 29 battery was $139.

Do the next owner a favor and yourself for this year. Buy the group 29 battery if it fits. It's dimensions will be larger.

If I remember correctly a group 29 battery provides 75% more juice than the smaller group 24.
