TT Tongue Jack

We have 23' TT, total weight 5300 lb? 425 lb Tounge .
We have an electric jack, Acme, 2500 lb
Has anybody put any kind of wheel on these jack? When parked would like to move it.

I usually do away with a wheel on the jack and use a flat plate. I do not think you are going to move it by hand anyway. I once had one get away with a wheel on it and swore off them after that.

No wheel on the travel trailer. We had one for a small tent camper and it was still hard to move.

That wheel, and a fork truck are all you will need to move it.

When I bought my Hybrid I noticed it had a wheel on the tongue jack. I ask the guy doing the PDI why. He just shrugged his shoulders and laughed and said he would put a sand foot on it. Just for giggles I tried to move it. That was a no go. If it ever got away from you there's nothing you can do to stop it. But yes, you can get a wheel for your trailer.

Most tongue jack manufactures recommend not using a wheel because of the lateral stress it can put on the jack.
