Not sure what type of travel trailer you have. But it would seem reasonable to assume that keeping the UV rays and the sun the dust, the weather off the surface would make the trailer look better longer, and stay in better shape with a cover. Chaulky and streaky trailers won't have a better resale value.

UV rays cause a lot of damage, so I support covering when you can. Two things worth protecting your unit from is water and sun. Plastics become brittle and deteriorate from sun expose. We've had a lot of success with the ADCO cover, wind resistant, and Tyvek top built in. Also if you cover it clean at the end of the seaon, it will still be pretty clean when you uncover in the spring. For me it's good to try and protect your investment however you can. RV'S depreciate enough already even when you provide great care. Good luck with your decision.

I cover my TT even in dry (most of the time) SoCal...mostly for UV protection.
