TV and 12 VDC female conector

I am doing a complete overhaul of a TT and have a few questions about the switch plate and TV connector. There is a switch on this plate I have no Idea what it does. a small LED is next to switch. I have not powered up this part of the system yet.

can anyone tell me what it does?

Three parts to that thing.
1) 12 volt Power outlet. (I plug my 12v TV and DVD player in there)
2) Power injector for the amplified Antenna. LED indicates that it is on.
3) F type connector to attach antenna/cable to the TV
