TV for the rig

The rig I'm looking at needs a television. It has satellite and cable hookups. With the antennae and possibly two hook other hookups. I'm assuming I need just a normal old 4 k tv with a single coax. Do I need a splitter or anything? Talk to me.

You don't need a 4K TV. There is very little programming for that platform. You probably want a HD smart TV. The smart TV will let you take advantage of on-line programming like Amazon Prime or Netflix if you happen to go to a campground with good wifi. Best Buy, Walmart etc will have a good selection of TV's. I bought a 32" HD smart TV at Walmart for less than $200.

Mine hooks up with a single coax to the antenna. The RV has a switch than changes from park cable to over the air antenna.

The TV that came with my rig(new this year) only picked up 3 channels sitting in my driveway using the outside rig antenna. I bought an LG Smart TV and it gets 32 channels crystal clear using the same antenna
