TV Mount

I have a "TV backer" sticker on a wall in my TT. Its a Forest River if that helps. Curious how big of an area around the sticker I have to mount. Also any tips to mounting from those who have done it before? Only going to mount a 24" TV to it which weighs under 8lbs. Will most likely pull the TV off the wall when in transit. Here is a link to the mount I'm planning on using.

It's about a foot square, so I've been told...no problem with that mount....

Tap the wall with the blunt end of a screwdriver. The different sound will give a good idea where the edges of the mount space are located.

Test for backer before mounting. Factory builders have been known to put it in the wrong place or forget to put it in all together.

Thanks for the insight guys! I will definitely test the area and try to get an idea of where the backer is. Hurricane coming this weekend in FL postponed my travel plans to next weekend, so I will take advantage of the time to tackle this project. I'll report back to let you know how it goes. Thanks again!

I have seen videos where that sticker was nowhere near the framing. I would use a stud finder first or tap the area till you feel a solid spot.

Thanks for all the help guys. As some of you mentioned the backer was not necessarily near the sticker. I knocked around and found a solid area. All went well. Also finished my burner cover just for an added project. Lol
