TV removal

Hi everyone. As you may know Im new to this RV thing full time and now have another question. (sorry if it sounds stupid but need help with something). My 2006 Ameri-camp (Summit Ridge T315QBS) came with a nice (analog) TV and surround sound system. I really want to remove the TV and get the modern digital flat panel one. Trouble is I thought the old TV would just simply slide out of its compartment but thats not the case. Seems its bolted inb some how and I have now clue as to how to access where its secured. I included a photo on here. I hate to have to tear the area apart. Thanks.

A much bigger picture would help. Include the area surrounding the Tv and the bezel. Look for an area in the bezel with little caps pressed into holes in the bezel. Check for screws or bolts running upward or downward from the cabinet above or below. Also check from the back if accessible (a cabinet on other side of enclosure?).

See if the bottom of the cabinet above it will lift up and out so you can gain access they have a brace or it's Velcro in really well, correct on the pic size needs to be bigger to see more

Were you able to get a panel up in the cabinet it could be screwed down

Go buy an inexpensive digital camera .... you will need it to keep track of everything. It is indispensable for "seeing" into places your head won't fit.

My TT actually had screws into the bottom of the tv from the underside where the Home theater is. The home theatre is held by velcro on the bottom, move it and then look for screw heads pointed up to the tv. They were also known to put velcro on the bottom, and then have bunge cords from the bottom of the back of the cabinet, to holes drilled in the TV set to hold it down. Carefully meadure the new tv, I used a swing wall mount to put in a new flat panel HDTV in a similar cabinet. Best of luck to you.
