I purchased a 2010 rockwood 8317s this spring. it came with a 32 inch flat screen Toshiba tv already installed inset into cabinetry. Is there a way of removing this TV without removing wood moldings. I can not seem to get the TV out. any suggestions?

rapidray, I wouldn't be too surprised to find out that they framed in the TV after it was installed. I guess they don't figure the thing will ever bust. There has just got to be a solution that you are not seeing at the moment. Is there a removable panel under the cabinet?

The TV are put on Bayonet style mounts on the rear of the units. the TV is lifted, pushed in then allowed to slide down and lock into place. Depending on the type of mount you may have to get behind the set and push in an a spring release to then lift the unit off of the mount. This is done to keep the unit secure during transport.
