Washing TT on the road
Just wondering where you can wash your TT when on the road? We are planning an extended trip this May/June and I'm pretty anal about keeping my camper clean. Any suggestions?

Make sure the front cap has a good wax job on it first. Bugs come off easier. A coin opp car wash with enough height like ones designed for Big Rigs will work.

I did my trailer including at theory dump station last Friday. White trash, I know, but it's clean!!!

I have never washed any travel trailer that I have owned.

People wash your trailers 
Besides the front bugs on the cap.. I have done much besides the heavy mountain rains.

Whenever I am on the road I get mine washed at a blue beacon truck washed. (Dusty).

Most places, 50 -70%, we have camped allowed washing on site. Some others only allowed hired washers to do it.

I am new at this trailer/camping thing... washed trailer at home..
Read someplace, campgrounds do NOT allow washing...
well currently being in South Carolina the past 3 months.. they do wash trailers/motorhomes at campgrounds.. even wax some..
so I have added to the missing list... bucket/long arm brush/garden hose/etc.

Many truck stops have truck/trailer wash bays.

I wash mine twice a month and roof once a month and treat it. I hope some of you guys aren't the power washing type I cringe when I see that especially in campgrounds. Your just asking for trouble on that one

Same here, I think the badge of honor is being proud of our rigs as we drive down the road knowing we pampered it the best we can. I don't wash it while on the road, as I'd rather do it when I get home and do it right. keeping it waxed I've gone on a 6 week, 2000 mile trip and it still looked fairly clean when we got home.
