Water level in the fresh water tank

Anyone know how the fresh water tank gauge is suppose to be wired. Looks like the pervious owner had the floor replaced and nothing was hooked up, including the water hose to the pump. Lucky I checked before putting water in the tank.

I can only guess that there is an individual wire for 1/4 another for 1/2 another for 3/4 and another for Full.

If you can see the water level in the tank it is easy; fill to 1/4 and hook up individual wires one at a time until the 1/4 light comes on, then do the same for the rest of the wire. If you can't see the tank it will be tougher but the same idea applies.

Typically 4 thru the wall probes are used

One at 1/3
One at 2/3
One at full

And then one for ground

There's a four wire cable going to each of your tanks. One wire completes the circuit. The other three give you the reading on each tanks . You should get the color code if you look at the tank connections .

water level gauge

I have 3 wires at different levels from the tank that join a central diode (or what ever that is) and one wire from there to the level indicator, and one ground wire from the lower side of the tank, which I assume is the ground. when I hook up that wire the level indicator shows full and the tank is empty.
