Angry Water Odor on nearly new 5th wheel

My brother in law bought a new Redwood 5th wheel about 6 months ago. He is not a new RVer having had several nice trailers in the past. They winter in the San Antonio area coming down first of November. Everything fine. Took trip to Vegas in December and all was fine. Came back south again in January and everything was fine for a week or two then started getting rotten egg odor in water. No one else in park is having trouble and we are staying in same place with our Newmar coach. He immediately changed all water hoses and filters along with running some bleach through filters and lines. After a few days, it came back. Has since changed filters and given the bleach a shot two more times and it continues to come back.. We are scratching our heads. Does this sound familiar to anyone else? Thanks!

Flush the fresh water tank. If water has been in the tank for a while it will begin to smell. Even if you are on city water it manages to siphon into the sines. You may also have to sanitize the tank with bleach.

I would also flush the hot water tank. It may have deposits even though pretty new.

The smell is from minerals in the water cooking and reacting on the heating element or anode if u have one. Flush with 50/50 vinegar and water.

Is the smell just from the hot water or the cold as well?

Do you get it from city water, from the water tank or both?

Did the bleached water run through the filter before circulating through the rv?

If he doesn't have a washer installed, flush the lines out for the washer. If they are not used, water will sit in those lines.

Yes on the anode problem, it reacts with some kinds of water sources. We had that problem when our trailer was new. If you take out the plug for water heater and drain it, you can see residue in the bottom of the tank, I just rinsed it right through the drain hole. Sprayed water in and let it run out, fixed it right up.
