Unhappy Water pump not working

Hi, I am a 1st timer in Terry Resort 260rls TT. Water pump only allowing air thru, was working b4 winter (English winter) I winterised correctly. Have heard it may be the filter that is blocked. I have no idea where to look to locate pump in order to fix it. Info. is in short supply in England reguarding this. Would be so grateful for any advice. Thanks Rick

I found mine under the galley sink cabinet. I had to remove a panel that was screwed in place (false front) When I found the pump, I found I could snap it apart, and there was a screen, filled up with a fuzzy yellow substance. After cleaning it and the water tank, it has functioned rather satisfactorily. Hope this helps.

When you turn on your water pump, Do you hear it humming? That is how I found mine. I listened to where the noise was, and started taking apart the wood work until I found the pump. The filter on mine was attached with some sort of clip devices that held the pump filter and water lines together. Hope that helps. Oh yea, and don't forget to flush out your fresh water tank before you get to serious about drinking water stored in it. there are some very good threads on this site that tell you just exactly how to sanitize your water system.

When you winterized; you or previous owner probably turned a valve that allowed the antifreeze to be sucked from the bottle instead of drawing from the FW tank....Did you return the valve to the correct position?

Assuming you have filled the tank, many RVs have a manual valve (usually in the area you fill the tank), that says City Water and Fill Tank. Move the valve to the other position and see what happens. Since this is a new unit, all this should be in the manual.

The valve is actually on the line going to the pump... Tried in both positions and still nothing...tried everything the manual says to do..which by the way isn't much...oh well.. That's what warranties are for...back to the dealer
