Water pump question

When I turn on water pump while pouring water into sink, it doesn't run steadily, but if I open another faucet it runs as it should. The manual says this happens when there is insufficient demand. This also applies to the shower.
My question is why do I not get full pressure from one source?

The water pump is to pump water from your fresh water holding tank, into the water system of your trailer , be sure to fill it. Not sure if this addresses your problem.

The pump runs steady or the water runs steady?
It is normal for the pump to cycle on and off while drawing water.

Some water pumps have a bypass system built in that will help the pump run smoothly when demand is less than the full capacity of the pump. Read the owners manual to see if you have a built in bypass and how to adjust it.

Your pump is 3.5 gal per minute.
Your faucet is 1.50- 1.75 gal per minute.

The water cant get out fast enough.

Forgot,
I took the water saver out of my kitchen faucet, water flows out smooth now with no pump surging.

Thanks all. Will try to find bypass or water saver. My main concern is getting better pressure for shower.

A better showerhead will do that. The oxygenics does a great job with the low pressure and low volume of an RV water system.

Second the Oxygenics shower head. But I have never had the same problem as you have with maybe 7 trailers over the years.
What pump do you have?
Don't understand the need to mod the system--a water pump runs when pressure drops.
