Weight/Balance Question

I've found a few floor plans I like,, but my question is when they put the kitchen and bathroom all on one side of the trailer,, such as the Keystone Springdale 266RLSSR , wouldn't that make it heavy on that side??? I know the single slide is on the other side,, but going down the road,,, does this make a difference? Roads lean to the right ya know...We always travel with empty (or close) grey/black tanks so not a factor.. Our current class A is sort of like that,, all the heavy stuff on the right,, including fresh water tank. I always run more pressure in the rear right air bag,, but trailers don't have that option..., Just curious... Thanks,,, Monkey

Mine is the same, kitchen and bath on the right. It does have two slides on the left. It leans to the right. Also the spring bar tension is more on the right. I swap bars l/r occasionally.

No way that just the fridge and bath room stuff outweighs that 12' slide with sofa and dinette. Slides are quite heavy. You basically have added wall, roof and floor with a slide. The outer wall is the same as in a no slide version, but add up all the rest of the slide plus the heavy framing needed in the slide and it will outweigh the other side easily. I would surprised if the slide side isn't actually heavier.

We had a Heartland North Trail 26LRSS which is basically the same layout and size. When ever we leveled up the TT we always had to put an extra 1/2" or more on the slide side or when we let the slide out it would lean on that side. It may of had something to do with the slid sticking out 3' more but in reality it's just heavy.
