What adhesive to use?

I'm restoring one of the storage compartment doors on our tt. its big, 4x6. it opens like a hatchback on a car. I removed the inside and outside vinyl panels from the rotted wood inside. I cut a replacement sheet of plywood but I'm not sure what to use to glue it all back together. I just tried polyurethane construction adhesive from Loctite, but it was too thick to spread . I scraped it up and aborted, any ideas? I need something that will be ok in cold and heat. thanks for looking

I would use a marine adhesive such as 3M™ Marine Adhesive Sealant 5200, I have not personally used it so I cannot make a personal recommendation, it is just for an example. "Its flexibility allows for the dissipation of stress caused by shock, vibration, swelling or shrinking" from 3M website. Just my 2 cents worth.
