We just got our Jayco Eagle 291RLTS. We haven't had much chance to get out in it much with the holidays and all, but we love it so far.

HI, Started out sleeping under the stars in sleeping bags. Went to a small tent. Next had a TINY Sunline TT. Pulled that a couple years and got a 23ft. Wilderness TT. L ast year got a 33 FT. COACHMAN MOTORHOME. Liked the convenience, NOT the gas mi.
Just bought a Jayco 30ft. 5th wheel with slide. Front kitchen. Lots of room for for us, the Dawg and 2 spoiled cats. Think we'll be happy now!!! TV 2000 F350..V10

We started with a pop up,then tt now the 5th wheel. Its a trail bay 31' aluminum frame, tow vehicle is 1997 f 250 PS,love the truck, its in great shape and only hauls the trailer,maybe 1500 miles or so a year. The 5th wheel tows great,only issue I had was a leaking side window, I hope thats my only issue. I bought it from orig owner,very well kept,I like all the features of it,its an 03 model

We started with a pop-up and last year traded up to a new Coachmen 288FKS T/T, towed with a F-150 half ton. Being a light weight it still needed a bigger tow vehicle. Bought a F-250 4x4 V-10 lot better towing, looking forward to a 5er someday. Try to go out at least once a month.

Started camping in a tank with the army- then to a shaggin wagon van, remember the 70's van craze--then to a ancient pop up and then a TT or 2 and back to a popup. Then comes the big D and it's a tent. Marry a new DW and she has a pop up. Then on to bigger and better things with a Bounder MH which we drove across the country. Then comes the gas crunch and sell the Bounder for a Trail Bay. Nice TT but small after having the Bounder, so after a year with it we sell it and now have a gently used 2003 Alpenlite FW and we love it---I think I will keep it for a while, Maybe!!

& now have a 31' fifth wheel.

I've been RVing for ~35 years and brought my wife into the action with a long RV trip for our honeymoon 28 years ago. We have travelled in 3 Airstreams and currently a 1996 32' RCS HRC Alumalite. 2001 Ford Crewcab, PSD. Typically, there are two ATVs on the truck and we're headed into the woods. Our Burmese cats go too.

Started out with my parents and the PU back in the 70's. They sold it and the next excursion was a tent for two years in my late 20's, then in 2002 got a 28' Springdale rear living room double slide TT, still got it too. Don't have a clue what the next step will be, it's nearly paid for, so I'm sure it'll become much nicer at that point!

DW and I started out in a 1959 16ft. Holley, with a 1972 camper special chev. p/u 5 tt/5ths later we own 2006 31efs cougar. last one getting to old to go in debt for a new 5th. we pulled this with a 2006 king ranch dw diesel. I sure miss that holley.

I'm pulling our Mobile Suite 32TK3 with a 2005 GMC 3500 dually, 4x4, 4 door, B&W Companion. Haven't weighed this yet. Just got it. Pulls great, Vonage brake controller will be upgraded. Not happy with it. Rv has Trail air suspension with air ride hitch. Very nice pull.

Pull a 2006 314EFS Cougar with a 1999 Ford 250SD 7.3PSD. Wife and 3 kids love it.

Before we purchased our o6 king ranch we pulled our o6 314efs all over the country with a 2000 f-250 4x4 7.3 chiped 75hp 125torque, never new the trailer was behind us. the only reason i bought the dw,is my 40ft goose neck work trailer. sold my 250 to son in law never had any problems, wish i could say that about the 06. ford really screwed up with the 6.0 engine, Junk!!!.

We have a 29 foot Alpenlite Riveria fiver and we tow it with a 2001 Ford F250 Superduty 7.3 PowerStroke diesel and we love both of them.

My toys:

2005 Ford F-250 Lariat Crew Cab with all the bells and whistles, including genuine cowbutt seats. Bought it off the local dealer lot. I told the DW if followed me home so I was keeping it.

A couple of years later, I found my 1995 Jayco Eagle 277RB on eBay. The fellow that owned it lost his job and needed money more than a travel trailer. I went to Georgia and brought it home. I've replaced the faded graphics, put in new carpet, a satellite dome, flat screen digital TV, Sirius satellite radio, and an amateur radio rig. If I need to escape, there's a quiet lakeside campsite with my name on it only 45 minutes away.

I'll sit there so far away from civilization that cell service is non-existent, look out over the lake, and say to the DW "I wonder what the poor people are doing tonight?"

She replies 'Sitting by the lake, drinking a cold adult beverage and getting away from it all!"
