What do I look for?

Wife and i will be picking up our first trailer on saturday. Sounds like there is abit of time envolved in doing this, sort of like a walk thru for a new house. So my question is what do i look for? Keep in mind we have only done tent camping.

Thanks Joe

Congrats on your new trailer!

I could not find a PDI here, but this one is pretty good:

RV Pre-Delivery Inspection Checklist

New or used? Take your time, ask lot's of questions... It'll take around 1-2 hours depending on the unit.

One suggestion was to video the dealer walk through. We didn't,and went one weekend without hot water because we had flipped the on/off switch. We came from a tent trailer so it was back to "normal".

It goes without saying, check tire pressures and lug nuts before leaving the lot. 3/4" deep socket and flex bar and a truck tire gauge, you need usually 50psi.
