Hello everybody!

What is the best hardwired rv surge protector between Surge Guard by TRC and EMS by Progressive Industries and why?

Thank you in advance for your answer.

Progressives unit for me. I have had it for 14 years and it has saved me many a times, from reverse polarity to no neutral to no ground low and high voltage and once during a flood in our rv when we werent there when water hit the ems it shut the power off but was damaged beyond use. We returned it and Progressive fixed it for free! You cant beat that kind of service and the unit was 7 years old at that point.

I went with EMS due to lifetime warranty and reputation on the forums.

Progressive Industries EMS-HW-30C.

Best customer service 24/7, lifetime warranty on the product not the customer, replaceable parts.

ANY made by Progressive Industries for 3 reasons
Lifetime Warranty
Units are 'serviceable'
Great Customer/Tech Service

1 yr limited warranty
Units are 'sealed' so you have to break into them
Customer Service....so so

Same types....entry level to full coverage/protection. Portable to hardwired and relatively same price point.

So choice is easy. PI Unit hands down
